Wedding card

Here's my latest card - a request from a friend who was attending a wedding at the weekend.

The photo frame is a digital image from Birds Cards; the "Honeymooners" image is an A Muse rubber stamp, which I paper pieced rather than colour it; copper ribbon from my own stash; Oval Nestabilities.

A few challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - No designer papers
Hanna and Friends - monochrome
Sundays with Crissy - Layers
A Spoon full of Sugar - Celebrations

Have a nice week!

Vintage Album (part II and last)

This is my second project finished this week. Another big YAY for me!

I started this vintage album months ago, I even showed a peak of it here, but I hadn't managed to fully complete it until now (I was not sure about the main cover and the title, what system to use to close it, etc.). In the end it was worth the effort, though :-)

This little album (10x10cm, 6 pages decorated on each side)encapsulates and celebrates the life of my late father and has been a long, emotional journey for me, collecting photos and re-living many memories in the process. This is the result, I hope you like it.

I am entering this album to the following challenges:
A Spoon full of Sugar - Celebrations
Tuesday Taggers - It's a Man's world
ABC Challenge - V is for Vintage
Crafts and Me - Distressed
Creative Inspirations - Distressed

Where's my mojo?

Where's my mojo? This week I have a bunch of children's birthday cards to make and my inspiration seems to have completely evaporated. It has taken me hours to come up with today's card!

In the end I went for this cute Pollycrafts digital image, vivid colours using Promarkers and ribbons, and dry embossing.

I am entering the following challenges:

Sew many challenges - Anything goes; A Spoon full of Sugar - 3D; Kaboodle Doodles - embossing

Thanks for your comments!

Another Bugaboo card

This is such a great image and sentiment for a witty birthday card! I have used it often and love it still. Check out here for some more Bugaboo stamps.

My card enters several challenges today: Creative Card Crew and A Spoon Full of Sugar - Happy birthday; Papertake challenge - sketch 39

Hope you like it! Have a nice weekend!
